A former youth director at the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Red Cross Society has been charged with indecent assault of a girl under the age of 13.
Sylmond Leroy Jack, who is now the field coordinator for the CRB Project at the SVG Red Cross Society, is accused of fondling the girl’s vagina a few years ago when she was less than 10 years old.
Jack, who is in his mid-40s and originally from Campden Park, was granted station bail ahead of his court appearance on March 31.
He pleaded not guilty to the charges when he appeared before the Family Court.
The court allowed bail to continue and ordered Jack to report to the Questelles Police Station on Mondays.
He is to have no contact with the alleged victim and must seek the permission of the court to leave the country.
His next court date is June 17.
They say, you are innocent until proven guilty, just hope you are, but you have a conscience Sir, if you are guilty, I would say that you are sick and should seek some psychiatric help.
