Police are investigating the discovery of a decomposing body in Colonairie on Wednesday.
The body was found near the beach behind the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in the North Central Windward village around 3 p.m.
It is believed that the person died before the latest rains, as the body has been described as badly decomposed.
Sources say that the body appears to be that of an adult male.
