A 14-year-old student of the Petit Bordel Secondary School was shot Tuesday afternoon, allegedly by another student, well-placed sources have told iWitness News.

Sources said the two students were on their way home to Chateaubelair when the incident occurred.

The students reportedly saw where someone had hidden a firearm and dug it up and were cleaning it.

In the process, the firearm was discharged, grazing one of the students on the right shoulder.

iWitness News understands that the injured student had initially refused to explain his injury to police and had concealed the identity of the other student allegedly involved.

However, after being pressured by a parent, the student reportedly told police what had happened.

The police were still trying to recover the firearm, sources said.

The injured student remained in police custody as the investigation continued.

As for the one who dug up the firearm ,he needs to be disciplined too.
Instead of informing the police, you gone to play ‘Meddlesome Matty.’
