One man was electrocuted and another said to be in critical condition in the Northern Grenadine island of Bequia after an incident at a dive shop on Monday.

I-Witness News understands that Larry Stowe died at the Port Elizabeth Hospital, where he was taken after the incident around 2 p.m.

Reports further indicate that Ron Williams and Stowe, owners of the dive establishment, were using a compressor to refill dive tanks when the incident occurred.

Sources tell I-Witness News that Williams, was injured in the incident and is in hospital in critical condition.

The incident on Bequia is the second tragedy on Monday.

Early that day, a teenage girl died after a truck ran over her during J’ouvert celebrations in Kingstown.
